In October will take place the “Pignoletto Rosso Festival”, a very important event which allows visitors to taste this unique product and to re-discover ancient tastes. The Pignoletto Rosso is an ancient maize variety, re-discovered thank to the valued work of some farmers, supported by the local Administration of Banchette, the Province of Turin and the General Confederation of Italian Agriculture of Turin. During the Festival, visitors can taste Pignoletto Rosso as polenta with other typical products. Not just Pignoletto Rosso, but also other typical foodstuffs, folkloristic and animation groups.
